Lisa's Weekly Chord Chart
Here's a chord chart I made for a terrific, easy song to learn on this rainy Sunday night. No bar chords. It's a good thing. Something I just learnt: In a slash chord i.e., G/B, the right most chord, in this case "B" represents the base note in the chord. G over B is a G major chord with a B in the bass. To play it, just form a regular G chord shape and dampen or take off the G bass note (your fourth finger on the top string).

Lyrics:
My life is brilliant
My life is brilliant
My love is pure
I saw an angel
Of that I'm sure
She smiled at me on the subway
She was with another man
But I won't lose no sleep on that
'Cause I've got a plan
Chorus:
You're beautiful
You're beautiful
You're beautiful, it's true
I saw your face
In a crowded place
And I don't know what to do
'Cause I'll never be with you
Verse 2:
Yes, she caught my eye
As we walked on by
She could see from my face that I was
Fucking high
And I don't think that I'll see her again
But we shared a moment that will last to the end
Chorus:
Bridge:
Final Chorus:
You're beautiful
You're beautiful
You're beautiful, it's true
There must be an angel
With a smile on her face
When she thought up that I should be with you
But it's time to face the truth
I will never be with you

Hey Lisa,
Thanks for the kind words about my animations. I actually don't use Flash to make them. I hand draw everything and scan it in Photoshop (to color) and then animate in Final Cut. I can show you sometime, it's actually a fun process.
As for the camera I use, there have been a few. I've shot using a Candon XL-1, a Sony HDR-HC1 and HC3, and a Sony PD-150. Most of the videos I've done lately are just shot with available light, but I have used some nice lil' video plugins that can help create a more "filmic" look. Feel free to e-mail me and I can tell you more.
I really do love your animations.
They are so, oh you know... LOL. I am trying to learn how to animate myself. I have a crazy cartoon man based on Brad Pitt's insane character in 12 Monkeys that I want to animate. Germs.
I have my reservations about Flash, but Ry's all like, "flash is like the most wickedest program ever" (paraphrased). So I'll give it a go. Are you anti-Flash or do you just prefer to work the old Disney magic ways? I would love to see a behind-the-scenes featurette on your process. And a commentary where you talk about the behind-the-scenes featurette.
Must go now and prepare for Steve Jobs.
I don't like Flash. It's not intuitive, which is very important to me. Hence my mac fetish. I like simplicity, but I think you're onto something with the "Disney Magic" ways. I like hand drawing, and doing it old school style. I'm still learning as well, and it's kind of fun doing it in away that, to my knowledge, isn't really used by anyone.
As for the behind-the-scenes-featurette, that is actually a fun idea. I think I'll document my next one I just wrote. I'd like to see your character designs, but only if you send a commentary with said designs.
Prepare for today..Steve is almost ready.
